Nurture Her

Amassa, SW France

7-12 July 2025

Like a dream…

Amassa - our little hamlet of cottages and a stunning converted yoga barn - truly is a magical place. Surrounded by 15 acres of beautiful landscapes and tucked between fruit trees, gardens and woods, you feel as if you have stepped into a hazy, sun-drenched dream.

Two outdoor swimming pools - one perfect for splashing with kids, the other a secluded oasis with sun loungers for moments alone - a kids trampoline, spacious lawns and plenty of nooks, crannies & hammocks to enjoy, make this the ideal space for both relaxing and entertaining children.

Only an hour west from Toulouse International airport and TGV rail station - arriving is easy, the problem is you may not want to leave..

Nurturing the Nurturer

The essence of this retreat is one of restoration. To awaken a remembering of feeling truly tended to, rested and enlivened.

Wake up in one of the gorgeous bedrooms - restored with French rustic charm, blended with modern comforts and furnished with locally sourced vintage finds - and then enjoy a delicious, wholesome breakfast with our group, before handing your child over to our compassionate caregivers so that you can enjoy a morning of blissful and embodied yoga.

Time for a massage, reading, swimming or sunbathing before reuniting with your little one after lunch.

Afternoons are for you to explore the area or simply relax by the pool. We will also have an activity or two planned for you to enjoy with your children. (In the past we have had a baking lesson, bead making, disposable camera adventures and kids yoga sessions!)

“It was the most relaxing restorative holiday I've had in years, certainly since my son was born. It was incredibly thoughtfully curated, with the perfect balance of activities and free time. As a single mum it was just wonderful not having to think about meals, or what to do each day, and having some quality me time.

The food & childcare was excellent. Every person in Jocie's team was genuinely lovely and caring, which made for such a nurturing and joyful few days”

The Food

Laura is our kitchen queen and she cooks stunning, plant based food with a focus on sustainable and flavourful ingredients. Our guests often say that the food is one of the highlights of the retreats and we know how important it is for kids and mamas alike!

Adults will eat lunch together and kids will be with their childcarers. Dinner is together at 6pm, al fresco if the weather allows, before winding down the littles for bedtime.

*You may submit any dietary requests at the time of booking or feel free to email over any questions/concerns

The Childcare

We know how vital it is that you feel confident leaving your little one in the hands of a new person. Our child minding team is very carefully selected and is led by one of our head nannies - Roberta. A qualified childminder with a huge amount of experience working with families in the UK and across Europe, Roberta curates creative, nature-based activities for the children to explore and is supported by a team of local nannies and babysitters.

The childcare hours are from 9am - 1pm and your child will be given a snack and lunch. Every child will be assigned a dedicated carer, with ratios of 2 or 3:1 depending on their age. Their play is relaxed and child-led and we are always sensitive to nervous children on the first morning! We find that by day 2 and day 3, everyone has settled perfectly.
